The Statistical Office in Kielce carries out tasks for public statistics, specializing in particular in estimating the shadow economy and illegal activities, as well as conducting surveys in the field of trade and services statistics. Furthermore, the Office's tasks include, among others, preparing analyses and publications on the socio-economic situation of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship, maintaining the official REGON and TERYT registers, and conducting survey research among the region's residents. The Office is also involved in popularizing public statistics through cooperation with regional stakeholders and educational activities aimed at school youth, students, as well as government and local government administration employees.
