Information on the Procedure
Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of a specific element of the website. It is also possible to request access to information through an alternative method, for example by having a digitally inaccessible document read aloud or by receiving a description of a video without audio description. The request should include the details of the person making the request, indicate the website concerned, and specify a preferred method of contact. If the requester requires information to be provided through an alternative method of access, they should also specify their preferred way of receiving that information.
The Statistical Office in Kielce will process the request without undue delay and no later than within 7 days from the date of submission. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the Office will immediately inform the requester when the request can be fulfilled, provided that this period will not exceed 2 months from the date of submission. If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the Office will propose an alternative method of access to the information.
If the Statistical Office in Kielce refuses to provide accessibility or an alternative method of access to information, the requester may submit a complaint regarding the accessibility of the website, mobile application, or a specific website element.
After exhausting the above procedure, it is possible to submit a request to the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman).
Requests regarding accessibility and communication with the Office, together with information on how to submit them, are available on the Office's website under the “Applications and Complaints” section.
