Interdisciplinary StatMat Knowledge Competition – Final of the 2nd Edition
On 21 April 2026, the regional stage of the 2nd edition of the StatMat competition took place. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Świętokrzyskie Superintendent of Education and with the substantive support of the Kielce University of Technology.
The final was full of excitement and demonstrated the enormous potential of young statistics enthusiasts. Participants presented their original projects to the Competition Committee, impressing the judges with their ability to analyse statistical data, the accuracy of their conclusions and their creativity in visualising results.
The winners were selected from among the ten finalists:
1st place – Lena Mróz, Non-Public Primary School in Mniów
2nd place – Artur Pawlik, Maria Skłodowska-Curie Public Primary School in Ujazd
3rd place – Nikola Macias, Public Primary School in Pliskowola.
We would like to thank all participants for taking on the statistical challenge and for their tremendous commitment.
We sincerely congratulate the winners, whose work was recognised not only with prizes but also with valuable admission points for upper secondary schools.
We are delighted to see StatMat becoming a permanent fixture in the calendar of the most important educational events in our region.
