Scientific Conference “Monitoring Sustainable Development – Global, National and Regional Dimensions”
On 17 September 2024, a scientific conference was jointly organised by the Statistical Office in Kielce, the Polish Statistical Association and the Professor Edward Lipiński Academy of Applied Sciences in Kielce.
The conference aimed to present the results of research and implementation projects carried out by official statistics, as well as the achievements of the academic community in monitoring sustainable development at various spatial levels – global, national, regional and local. The presentations focused on tools for implementing sustainable development that are relevant to the socio-economic policy of the country and individual territorial units, both in instrumental and institutional terms, as well as on the challenges related to measuring and monitoring sustainable development.
