Tasks
The tasks of the Świętokrzyskie Centre for Regional Surveys include initiating and conducting activities related to the studies on development, analysis of the social and economic situation of the region, as well as providing information services to local government units, field government administration and other organisations operating in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
The main tasks of the Świętokrzyskie Centre for Regional Surveys include, in particular:
- preparing current and periodic analyses and information on the socio-economic situation of the voivodeship,
- providing information services to field government administration bodies, local government units and other institutions and organisations from the voivodeship,
- initiating the preparation of analyses, information materials and publications of a review, promotional and commemorative nature, tailored to the needs of users and commissioning bodies, including those addressed to and prepared in cooperation with local administration units,
- providing information services to the regional press, radio and television,
- making available and disseminating statistical information resulting from surveys of official statistics, handling individual requests and running the Statistical Information Centre of the Office,
- promoting and popularising resources of the official statistics and disseminating knowledge about official statistics, including through social media,
- undertaking activities aimed at strengthening the role of the Statistical Office in Kielce as a regional partner in the field of research and educational services as well as the preparation of strategic and programme documents,
- monitoring user needs and identifying demand for statistical output information,
- cooperating with universities and the academic community in conducting surveys and analyses,
conducting statistical education among various groups of users.
