Office specialization
Since 1 January 2009, a new organisation of work based on the specialisation of statistical offices has been in force in official statistics. It consists in assigning the implementation of specific surveys throughout the country to a specific statistical office.
As part of this specialisation, the Statistical Office in Kielce is responsible for:
- Estimating the size of the shadow economy and selected types of illegal activities.
- Developing modern research methods in this area.
Work in this field is carried out by the Centre for Non-observed Economy Studies (OGN).
- Conducting surveys in the field of trade and services:
- domestic trade and catering,
- international trade in services,
- assessment of enterprises providing services related to business activity support,
- demand for services.
Work in this field is carried out by the Centre for Trade and Services Statistics (OSH).
